• Mold Prevention - Now that mold is a hot topic in the construction industry, this course will cover sources of mold, new construction and mold, rightsizing, standards and regulations, liability, and litigation.
• Using Gypsum in New Construction - This continuing education course provides current information on drywall and veneer plaster construction, coventional lath and plaster construction, suspended accoustical ceiling systems, and general construction.

These are the current requirements for renewing your Louisiana Architects license. We will always provide the newest information available and will update the requirements as soon as there are changes.


• To renew your Architect License in the state of Louisiana, you are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education hours every year.
• A minimum of 8 continuing education hours must be completed in Structured Educational Activities. A maximum of 4 continuing education hours may be obtained in Individually Planned Educational Activities.
• Architect Licenses expire every year. Continuing education requirements must be completed prior to expiration. A maximum of 12 continuing education hours may be carried over to the next renewal cycle.
• Licensees shall obtain a certificate of completion from the course provider verifying attendance. Licensees shall retain this record for a minimum of 2 years.
